Inaugural Conference
A Platform for Palestinian Liberation
Inaugural Conference
- Conference Overview
The inaugural conference organized by the Coordination Council for Palestine (CC4P) will take place on November 1 and 2, 2024, in Montreal, Quebec (the Venue will be communicated to the participants). This event, running from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day, marks the launch of a new collective dedicated to defending and supporting the rights of the Palestinian people.
About the Conference
Our conference comes at a crucial time, amidst over a year of ongoing U.S.-Zionist genocide against the Palestinian people, a heroic resistance of the Palestinian people, and rising global movements advocating for Palestinian liberation. This initiative aims to bring together a diverse group of cultural and political individuals and organizations to foster meaningful dialogue and collaborative action.
Why Attend?
This conference offers a unique platform for progressive organizations to explore and discuss critical issues shaping the Palestinian liberation struggle today. We aim to bring together a diverse group of cultural and political individuals and organizations to foster meaningful dialogue and collaborative action.
Our Principles
The CC4P is founded on principles of justice, equality, and human dignity for all. We stand against Zionism and all forms of oppression, racism, settler colonialism, apartheid, and state terrorism. We support centering the ongoing experiences of Indigenous people, both in Palestine and Canada, and their rights for self-determination and freedom from racializing and eliminatory colonialism.
Our Mission
Our mission is to coordinate efforts and empower individuals and groups across Canada who share our vision and foster cooperation to achieve it. By building partnerships with like-minded organizations, we aim to advocate for policies and actions that promote Palestinian liberation and rights from the river to the sea. We are committed to ending Israeli impunity and achieving accountability for the Zionist regime’s crimes, including genocide and apartheid, against the Palestinian people.
Conference Themes
The conference will cover a broad spectrum of themes, including:
- The global student intifada and its calls for divestment from Israeli enterprises.
- The growing boycott movement against Israel and complicit entities.
- The heroism of Palestinian and regional resistance to racializing and eliminatory colonialism.
- The crisis of human rights and international law.
- The struggle to free Palestinian prisoners facing isolation and torture.
- Campaigns to confront Islamophobia, racism, and all forms of oppression.
